Søren Bruun
Søren Bruun is centrally located on Sankt Pauls Kirkeplads and is one of the most famous pubs in Aarhus, especially among football fans. If you’re an AGF fan, you definitely know Søren Bruun. The place serves as a natural gathering point before and after matches, and it’s where many meet to warm up for a trip to the stadium or to celebrate a victory.
Inside, the atmosphere is down-to-earth and welcoming. The walls are adorned with AGF shirts, banners and other football-related memorabilia, showing the strong connection to the club. The bar fills the space well and offers a wide selection of drinks. Draft beers such as Ceres, Royal and Thor are a regular feature, and both single beers and pitchers for sharing are served. There are also different types of shots, whiskey, rum and gin, as well as hot drinks such as coffee and Irish coffee.
Guests come for both the beer and the experience. When there’s a game on, the room is buzzing with anticipation and the big screens make sure you don’t miss a thing. You can play darts or rafle, and the music ranges from classic hits to more festive tunes that get people singing along or dancing when the atmosphere is high.
The staff are friendly and efficient and it’s easy to feel part of the community, whether you’re a regular or just visiting. Søren Bruun is not a place that tries to be fancy. It’s a pub with soul, where it’s all about togetherness, good laughs and an atmosphere that invites you to linger a little longer than you originally planned.
